Gorgeous Gray

Hello,

It's Sunita here.

DRESSED

Morning walk under a drizzling sky.

A pop of colors begs to be seen.

I am compelled to stop and speak with these glorious miracles.

I speak in poem.

I see you, orange.

I see you, yellow.

I see you, green.

I see you, garnet red.

I see you, brown.

I see you, silent in worship under this somber sky that is showering us with a bountiful space,

To be contemplative and mournful, while we twirl in delight.

Let us wash ourselves, with its gift of these pure droplets.

Let us start anew, with the refreshed stories of our past.

Let us cross over to another day, carrying with us, the tender ghosts of our stories.

How blessed are we?

Yesterday, we were not what we are today.

A moment ago, we were not who we are right now.

To think that I passed by you just yesterday and only saw buds.

Look at you now.

Look at me now.

How glorious are we?

Let us rejoice with the divine in the sky.

Today, it wears a gorgeous gray.
